What dictates our thoughts and feelings? What seperates fictional experiences from true ones? Drone explores the digital humans' condition and how we seamlessly move between fiction and reality.
Erik Linghede is a newly established choreographer whose aesthetics are colored by his background and work with different street dance expressions. His third work, Drone, is a sensuous dance-performance that deals with our ability to move between fiction and reality, between IRL and virtual, between avatar and human. The title is a dark metaphor for humans as drones, a driverless, programmed machine. But it is also about the sound “drone” – the noise which is always present in the silence.
